11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	End-Stage Renal Disease Prospective Payment System (ESRD PPS) Implementation Session 1:Reimbursement THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED! Effective January 1, 2011, the end-stage renal disease prospective payment system (ESRD PPS) implementation and related changes were announced via Change Request 7064 and are specific to ESRD facilities billing such services to Medicare on a 72X claim type. If you provide ESRD services to Medicare beneficiaries with ESRD, then this session is just what you need to ensure an understanding of the new requirements! Session 1 will provide information specific to reimbursement under ESRD PPS. Please note: This is the first in a series of three Webinars. Each session will provide different aspects of the new ESRD PPS. The first session will provide information on reimbursement for ESRD facilities and is geared toward administrative and additional ESRD facility staff that require an understanding of the reimbursement concepts under ESRD PPS. Session 2 will be held on December 14, 2010 to discuss the consolidated billing requirements and Session 3 will be held on December 16, 2010 to provide an overview of ESRD PPS billing concepts.
