1:00 PM - 2:30 PM	The Hospice Benefit-Eligibility and Entitlement The objective of this teleconference is to give providers a basic understanding of the Medicare hospice program, including the eligibility and election requirements. Discussion will include review of the basic requirements for entitlement, certification, election, and revocation. We will also discuss how the Veteran’s Administration, Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP), Medicare Advantage organizations (MAO), and stays in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) affect the Medicare hospice benefit.
